Constantly losing signal and having to recalculate, even showing your position on a totally different road to the one you are on. Just before the 1st service was due the sat-nav started acting up. Worst thing is the styling is hideous! Don't know how people think it is stylish! ![]() Much worse than other vehicles that it should be better than! no roof rails make adding roof bars a pain Often has the vehicle on a totally different road, for many kms! auto lights don't turn on soon enough, even though I have set them to be sensitive engine is powerful, but torque is rubbish if vehicle is loaded, and even worse if towing. Struggles when even one wheel loses traction Also the vent locations are very limited and it's hard to get any fresh air on your face. Can't just leave it on a comfortable temperature (like 22 degrees C). Over the year I have run this car, the speed it restarts at intersections has slowed down a lot. i-Stop is annoying and has to be turned off every time you restart the car if you want it turned off. seats are rubbish with minimal adjustment, no lumbar support, and uncomfortable for even medium journeys It was chosen by the previous manager, and it is crap! Issues: This is my second Mazda CX-5 and I would never by another Mazda due to the fact that Mazda do not care about customers (so do not have a customer care department!) and that the dealers are fraudulent in their costs on upgrades. Same person from Mazda called back - no interest in complaint again - advised SIM cost as over £580 + fitting! (for a sim card!) Email to Mazda head office advising them that Mazda are either incompetent or the dealers are fraudulent.ġ5. No call back from Senior Manager - several messages left.ġ4. 3 weeks later called another Mazda dealer who quoted £1,200ġ3. Telephone call with a senior Mazda Manager to discuss dealer quoting £1,000+ for a £480.00 sim card - promised a call back.ġ2. Visit to dealer to find out Satnav can be activated by purchasing a SIM card for £398 + VAT (£480.00)ġ1. Response from Mazda thanking me for my complaint!ġ0. Emailed Mazda to complain that they have ignored 2 emails.ĩ. Emailed Mazda asking why they have not responded to my enquiry.Ĩ. Emailed Mazda asking for clarification.ħ. Another dealer advised £958 including fitting costsĦ. Dealer asked for Satnav upgrade cost - could not answer as the engineer was on holiday for 2 weeks.Ĥ. S-Lux cannot be purchased without Satnav = wrongģ. S-Lux with Satnav 14 weeks delivery = wrongĢ. I have an S-Lux without SatNav, as I was told by the dealer that SatNav versions take 14 weeks, I was also told by another dealer that it is impossible for me to have a Mazda without a SatNav as you cannot purchase them without SatNavs?!ġ. I would not recommend Mazda due to the fact that Mazda do not care about customers and their dealers do not know about the cars.
